Anna Arredondo on 1st January 2007 at 3:55pmFood Dance is my favorite restaurant in all of Kalamazoo, and perhaps anywhere. The ambiance is amazing, the staff is so nice, and the food is delicious. Make sure to ask for Eric as your server when you go. He`s the best It`s hard for me to not order the same thing over and over again (the Blushing Crab pasta), but whatever you order is sure to be great
Rob on 1st January 2007 at 3:55pmJust when you thought Sunday Brunch had to be a buffet...stop in to Food Dance (be prepared to wait) and try delicious omlettes, pig-in-a-blanket, or the daily special (always special ). Dinner and lunch don`t satisfy as well as breakfast items when compared to other choices in town.
Bridget Fleck on 1st January 2007 at 3:55pmThey have the best burgers and they use no seasoning.
KD on 1st January 2007 at 3:55pmBreakfasts at Food Dance are generally terrific. However, I recently ordered a breakfast advertised as "pumpkin pancakes." When it arrived, it was not pumpkin flavored at all -- it simply had flavorless pumpkin seeds thrown into the batter. When I questioned this, the waiter explained that they had been adding actual pumpkin earlier in the morning, but stopped because the pancakes were not holding their shape. Too bad this wasn't explained to me before I ended up with flavorless, crunchy pancakes. Overall, however, we have found their breakfasts to be creative and tasty. Hopefully the pumpkin pancake episode was an anomaly. However, the dinners at Food Dance are over-priced and under-seasoned. We dropped a good chunk of change on a dinner recently that was bland and boring, even though we chose items recommended by our waiter. There are far better dinners in this price range in Kalamazoo.
JK on 1st January 2007 at 3:55pmI can only speak for the breakfast here and it`s good. Lots of creative dishes, omlets, and scrambles. My favorite is the mexican scramble with clancy`s fancy hot sauce. The emphasis here is on quality ingredients, many form local growers. You can even get a scone instead of toast, but the toast form Zingerman`s in Ann Arbor so it`s good too. This is a good place to take that special someone or friends from out of town for breakfast.
