Rob on 1st January 2007 at 3:55pmIf you like the out-of-the-way, owner-cooks-there-every-day kind of place, this is it. Upstairs from an Irish pub, Cosmo`s has a kitchen smaller than an efficiency apartment`s, but consistently puts out supurb food. The service has improved drastically over the years, to become a friendly, welcome-to-our-place kind of place.
Joe on 1st January 2007 at 3:55pmMy fiance and I ate out on the deck a few days back. The food was as refreshing as the light breeze playing over the railing. The menu is wonderful, always changing and I`ve never had a bad meal in the several times I`ve been. One of Kalamazoo`s real gems.
tommytnt on 1st January 2007 at 3:55pmA wonderful eating experience The atomosphere is very cozy and warm. The lunch menu is very affordable and great if your into trying new and unique dishes. Try the pizza. I enjoyed every bite.
KD on 1st January 2007 at 3:55pmCosmo's consistently prepares some of the best food in Kalamazoo - excellent, creative and well-priced. The wooden chairs are a bit uncomfortable if you're hoping to settle in for a leisurely dinner with a friend, but the deck is a great place to eat on a warm summer evening. I was startled recently upon receiving my bill to find that a special Reisling advertised on the menu (without a price mentioned) cost $8 a glass -- so be sure to check prices before ordering if cost is an issue. Service can be spotty, especially if they are busy. The best tables are usually saved for those who call ahead.
